The appointment of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as the Congress General Secretary, in charge of Uttar Pradesh East, has made headlines all over. One more person from the Nehru family has entered politics. This news has indeed made the Congress workers across the nation happy. But Nammalariyanam would like to take the discussion to another level. Shouldn't more women, other than the favourites of the central leadership, reach the Parliament?
