Corruption In Kerala Police: CPM Plans To Trivialize Issue?
More and more revelations on the corruption at the helm of Kerala police are tumbling out. Remote cameras for the state's Thunderbolt force were purchased at a cost of Rs 95 lakh, breaching tender norms. These cameras were distributed by the firm that makes police uniform! However, CPM secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan who met the media after the CPM state committee said that it was not corruption but fund diversion that took place in the state police.
