Swapna Requested Help For Releasing Baggage, Reveals Sivasankar
Kochi: In the controversial diplomatic baggage gold smuggling case, former principal secretary to chief minister, M Sivasankar gave a crucial statement to NIA. In his statement, he revealed that Swapna Suresh, the second accused in the case, phoned him seeking intervention from his part for releasing the baggage seized by Customs. He noted that he refused to help Swapna and declared that he will not intervene in the baggage issue. The NIA approached the Centre seeking permission to question Attache and the Consulate General after Customs.
