Ayodhya Verdict: Disputed Land Given To Hindus, Muslims To Get 5 Acre Alternate Land
New Delhi: The Supreme Court has ruled in favour of a Ram temple at the disputed land in Ayodhya. The five-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, has asked the Centre to formulate a scheme to build the temple at the site and to allot five acres of alternate land to the Sunni Waqf Board where they may construct a mosque. In the trust to be formed by the Centre, the Nirmohi Akhada must me made a member. The SC also said that the rights of Ram Lalla to the disputed area is subject to the maintenance of law and order and communal harmony.
