CJI Sexual Harassment Allegation: Don't Probe In Complainant's Absence, Says Judge

New Delhi: The Supreme Court Judge DY Chandrachud had reportedly objected to the decision of the inquiry panel headed by Justice SA Bobde to proceed ex-parte on the sexual harassment allegation raised against the Chief Justice of India, as the complainant informed that she will not co-operate with the inquiry panel. Justice DY Chandrachud met the judges and told them that proceeding the investigation in the absence of the complainant will affect the apex court's judiciary. Meanwhile, the SC General Secretary denied the media reports which said the judge met the panel.
