CJI Sexual Harassment Complaint: SC To Take Tough Action
New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday decided to take tough action on the sexual harassment issue raised against the Chief Justice of India (CJI) by a former woman employee of the SC. A special team appointed by the Court will look into the alleged conspiracy to malign the CJI as alleged by an advocate. A three-member bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra directed CBI director, Delhi police commissioner and director of Intelligence Bureau to come to the court for consultations. The bench has sent notice to the complainant and asked her to be present before the Court with supporting documents, on Friday.
