Cyclone Fani To Hit Odisha On Friday; IMD Warns Three States
New Delhi: The IMD said that Cyclone Fani has reached 450 km away from Odisha coast. The evacuation of eight lakh people spread over 14 districts in is underway. The cyclone is expected to hit the state with a wind speed on 200 km/hour on Friday evening between 5 pm and 5.30 pm and is likely to wreak havoc across the state. In addition to the Orange alert in Odisha, the IMD issued warnings for both West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh.
