Award Winning Director-Screenwriter Lenin Rajendran Passed Away
Chennai: Renowned Malayalam film director and screenwriter Lenin Rajendran passed away at a private hospital in Chennai on Monday night. He was 67. He was undergoing treatment for liver-related issues. He was serving as the chairman of Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KFDC). He made his directorial debut with Venal (1981). His noted films include Daivathinte Vikruthikal (1992), Mazha (2000), Kulam, Anyar (2003), Rathrimazha (2007), Makaramanju (2010). He has received state awards for his works.
