Sri Lankan Army Chief Confirms Suicide Bombers Visited Kerala Before Easter Blasts

Colombo: Sri Lankan Army Chief Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake confirmed that those who carried out blasts at Colombo on Easter Sunday visited Kerala before the attacks. In an interview to BBC World, the army chief said that the terrorists went to Kerala and the information regarding this was available with them. Though the exact reason behind the visit was unknown, it is assumed that they visited Kerala and other places either to contact other Islamic outfits outside Sri Lanka or for some sort of training. However, the spoke person of Indian Army said that no official information in this regard has been shared with them by Sri Lanka.
