Budget 2019: Flood-Cess To Cause Price Hike
T'puram: The one-percent-flood-cess introduced in the state budget 2019-20 would lead to price hike. The cess is applicable to gold, silver and platinum ornaments as well. The decision to hike the fair price of land by 10 percent would increase the cost of documentation. The fee for the services provided by the government departments will increase by 5 percent.
