Rs 1420 Crore For Women Empowerment
Kochi: The state budget has announced Rs 1420 crore for schemes and projects pertaining to women empowerment. A budget of Rs 1000 crore has been allotted for the Kudumbashree. Finance Minister Dr Thomas Issac declared that the government will be branding 12 products of the Kudumbashree. The budget has given hope to women with the announcement of measures that ensure permanent income for them.
