Govt Criticised For Announcing 'No Package For Fishermen'
The Government has allotted packages for the flood-affected areas like Kuttanad, Idukki and Wayanad in the state budget. But, not even a single package has been announced for the fishermen community in Kerala, which played a key role in the rescue operations during the heavy floods Charles George, said president of Matsya Thozhilali Aikya Vedi. The fishermen community has suffered a loss of Rs. 10,000 crore, he added.
