When Nanchamma's Sachy Becomes A Memory
The sudden demise of filmmaker and scriptwriter KR Sachidananadan, popularly known as Sachy, created a void in Malayalam film industry. Super Prime Time pays tribute to the artist, who directed and penned a bunch of good movies. The maker of blockbuster 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' passed away on Thursday after he suffered a cardiac arrest following a hip surgery. When the state went into the coronavirus-induced lockdown, both his movies 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' and 'Driving Licence' were running successfully in theatres. His collaboration with writer Sethu was renowned. Later, Sachy excelled as a scriptwriter and filmmaker. When Malayalis still search for Nanchamma (Ayyappanum Koshiyum fame) in YouTube, her beloved filmmaker has become a memory.
