Will Not Change My Style, Sabarimala Issue Did Not Affect LS Polls, Says CM

T'puram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that he will not change his style, which was speculated as one of the reasons for the CPM's poll debacle. Addressing the media for the first time after the poll verdict, the CM said that Sabarimala issue did not affect the election results. The anti-Modi wave and Rahul's candidature in Wayanad were the major factors that resulted in the UDF's landslide victory in the state, he added. The defeat of the LDF in the LS polls was quite unexpected but it is a temporary failure, he told the media. The CM rejected the Opposition's demand for his resignation.
