MBIFL 2019 Discusses Various Aspects Of #MeToo
G Usha Kumari and CS Chandhrika said that #MeToo campaigns are major steps towards women's emancipation. They were taking part in a discussion held at the second edition of Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters. The session has also witnessed discussions on various aspects of the issue as the father of a person against whom #MeToo allegation was raised was present at the venue. His son committed suicide following the allegations. The session has also heard the story of another person who was found innocent after being accused in a #MeToo allegation.
