Palakkad: Man tried to kill his wife by setting her on fire in Palakkad. The attempt was made to kill Saritha, a native of Malampuzha, who had come to study beautician course in Olavakkod. Saritha escaped from the attack as she ran away. After the incident, her husband Baburaj surrendered at Malampuzha station.
