Centre To Update NPR, Allocates Rs 3,941 Crore
New Delhi: The Centre has decided to update the National Population Register (NPR) and approved Rs 3941 crore for the process. In a media meet, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the Centre has allocated Rs 8754 crore for the Census also. No documents are required for the NPR, he added.
