Cyclone Amphan Powerful Than Ockhi, Fani, Says Secy To Earth Sciences Ministry
New Delhi: Renowned Scientist Dr M Rajeevan who is the secretary to the Ministry of Earth Sciences said that the super severe cyclonic storm Amphan is powerful than the cyclones Ockhi and Fani. Though there is a dip in the cyclone's severity, Amphan can still wreak havoc in coastal regions, especially in West Bengal. Speaking to Mathrubhumi News, Rajeevan said that the cyclone will not affect Kerala but can cause heavy downpour in the next two days.
