Gen Bipin Rawat Takes Charge As CDS
New Delhi: General Bipin Rawat took charge as the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) on Wednesday. Following his retirement as the Army Chief, General Bipin was chosen as the first Chief of Defence Staff in the country, a position which integrates the operations of the Army, Navy and Air Force.
