Indo-China Conflict: Buffer Zone Unfavourable For India

It is assessed that the buffer zone formed under the agreement reached between the two countries following the conflict in Ladakh is unfavourable for India. The buffer zone is the 10 kms between finger three ti eight in the Pangong Tso Mountains. This would put an end to patrolling by the Indian Army since 1962.
