Kerala Elephant Death: National Green Tribunal Registers Case
Chennai: In the wake of the tragic death of a pregnant elephant in Kerala's Palakkad, the National Green Tribunal voluntarily registered a case on the basis of media reports of the issue. The NGT asked the government of Kerala to to update them with the measures adopted in connection with the issue. Meanwhile, the first and second accused of the elephant's death case, Abdul Kareem and son Riyazuddin, are absconding.
