51 Inmates Of Viyyur Jail, Including Maoist Leader Roopesh, Test Covid Positive
Thrissur: 51 inmates and 7 employees of the central prison in Viyyur tested Covid positive on Saturday. Maoist leader Roopesh was also among those confirmed with the virus infection. The district has been reporting increased number of Covid cases for the past few days. Following this, health department decided to increase the testing.
