Centre, State Govt. Face Allegation For Covering Report On Oceanic Squid
Kochi: A deliberate attempt to avoid fisher folks of Kerala from getting a good catch has sparked controversies. Allegations are raised against both the central and state government for not revealing the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) report on the repositories of oceanic squids found in Indian Ocean. A type of cephalopod, the oceanic squid distribution in the Indian Ocean would weigh around 25 tonne and cost 1.76 crores, states the report.
