Covid Surge: Restrictions To Be Tightened; Hotels, Shops To Close By 9 PM
T'puram: Considering the surge in Covid cases in the state, it has been decided to intensify the restrictions. The high level meeting held under the leadership of chief secretary took this decision. As part of this, duration of public events will be limited to two hours. Only 200 people will be allowed to take part in events held in open spaces. Maximum number of people who can attend the programmes organised inside closed rooms is limited to 100. Hotels and shops are allowed to open till 9 pm only. Entry to hotels should be limited to only 50 percent of the maximum seating capacity.
