Leena’s organs to save three lives
T'puram: Though Leena is no more, she will be remembered in three lives. Her organs have given life to three people who were battling with life and death. Kollam native Leena (42), wife of Sajeev, was declared brain dead at Thiruvananthapuram medical college on Sunday. Her two kidneys and liver were donated under 'Mrithasanjeevani', organ donation programme of the government. Leena was admitted to a private hospital after having severe head ache. Later she was taken to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College on August 5. Though she was treated under medical experts, she suffered brain death on Sunday.
