Two Flats Razed To Dust - Special Programme
The state Government has promised the Supreme Court to demolish the four apartment complexes at Maradu when all other avenues were closed. But later the concern was how to demolish these apartments, as we have no prior experiences on this. When it was decided to demolish the flats through controlled implosion, many neighbouring houses have suffered damages while demolishing the middle walls. The locals have raised protests against this. This anxiety and protests continued till today 12.30pm. They got a relief when the two flats were razed to dust without any casualties and damages.
